Sugar

Sugar has a knack for messing up people's plans, though she rarely does so on purpose. She just acts like a curious, energetic child who has little knowledge about the Human World. She wants to explore and get into things. This can lead to hilarious shenanigans and mishaps. (Doesn't help that she is also rather klutzy.)

Then there is the matter of "twinkles." Finding twinkles is the most important training for season fairies. The twinkles help their Magic Flower grow. In order to graduate, they must collect enough twinkles to make their Magic Flower bloom. Twinkles can be found in the Human World.

But there's one catch: none of the apprentices know what a twinkle is.

Apprentices must find the twinkles on their own. Which means they are given no hints about what they are looking for. They can only guess. Sugar thinks a twinkle is something that, well, twinkles. Meaning all pretty, shiny, and sparkly things are suspect. Sugar will try to grab these twinkly things, even if they belong to someone else. But no worries! This little thief will be easy to dissuade. If told what the object is, namely NOT a twinkle, she'll return it without much fuss.

These kisses hold no romantic significance to her. Because of her small size, she usually hugs people's fingers or the side of their face. SERIES: A Little Snow Fairy Sugar (Chitchana Yukitsukai Shugaa)
CANON POINT: End of episode 1
LOSS: Her memories of Saga, the human who can see fairies. Saga saved Sugar from starving on her first day in the human world. She also provided (somewhat reluctantly) her shelter during Sugar’s stay. Later on, they become very close friends. This loss will make it far more shocking that residents can see Sugar.
